Wills and living wills
Preparing wills is probably a notary’s most traditional service. A regular will, or modern variants such as a living will or divorce will, is a valuable tool in making appropriate arrangements for your estate and avoiding annoying situations for your next of kin. A living will lays down who you wish to make decisions for you should you become unable to make these decisions for yourself. A divorce will lays down that the estate accrues solely to the children and that the future ex-spouse no longer has any say in the estate.
