The registration of networks with the Dutch land registry is more than merely an administrative formality: after its registration with the land registry, a network can serve as collateral for financing. The construction of a network can be registered, or its adjustment in the form of, for example, the partition, unification, expansion, densification or amendment of the route of the network.
